MoBeam Inc. says it has doubled the number of supported retailers nationwide in the six weeks since launching the nümi key loyalty program. Chris Sellers, MoBeam CEO says, “As consumers begin to use the nümi key, they’re finding they can take better advantage of more savings at their favorite retailers because they always have their loyalty cards at their fingertips. We’re pleased with the pace with which we’ve been able to add even more saving options for our users.” The company says, in the face of a downturned economy, consumers have flocked to loyalty card programs. With over 153 million Americans using grocery loyalty cards alone – and over 14 loyalty cards per US household – the emergence of new programs has become dizzying. At the same time, consumers are growing weary of carrying wallets and purses loaded with plastic cards and key chains littered with plastic tabs of all shapes, sizes and colors. The nümi key allows consumers to carry all of their loyalty cards on one small, key chain-based device. The nümi key works at any checkout lane with a laser bar code scanner.
