Pactolus SIPdev.org Awarded “Best of Show” at ITEXPO West 2008 Service Creation Environment Enables Scalability, Innovation and Reliability |
MARLBOROUGH, MA (September 22, 2008) Pactolus Communications Software, makers of SIP applications and service creation/delivery solutions, has announced that its SIPdev.org Developer Community’s open source framework/open access service creation environment (SCE) has received the “Best of Show Award” for Open Source products at Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC)’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and EXPO West 2008.
The award recognizes SIPdev.org’s freely available service creation environment, and its support for new levels of feature innovation and service breadth. Its rich usable object palette allows developers to create any application, and readily integrates telco/Web 2.0 services. The SIPdev SCE does not require advanced mastery of C++, Java or protocols such as SIP and DIAMETER, which Pactolus says is the foundation for unique services now deployed by Tier 1 and innovative service providers.
“Outstanding participant companies like Pactolus Communications Software with their award winning service creation and turnkey services solutions help to validate ITEXPO's status as the leading forum for the VoIP and IP communications industry,” said TMC President and Conference Chairman, Rich Tehrani.
The INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO Best of Show Award recognizes innovative products and solutions that were featured in the Exhibit Hall during the event. A full list of the winners is posted on TMC’s Web site at www.tmcnet.com.
