LeapFrog Goes Mobile
TicTalk for Kids
EMERYVILLE, CA (Aug. 3, 2005) Enfora and LeapFrog, an interactive
toy company, have announced the TicTalk phone for young children.
Like the Firefly and Wherifone, the TicTalk has a limited feature
set, restricted call list and many safety features. Because it’s
a LeapFrog device, it also adds in educational mini-games and a
PIM functions not present in other kids phones. All phone numbers
and information are entered in the phone using a web interface,
and then transferred to the handset. The TicTalk not yet offered
by any carrier, however it is definitely a GSM device and LeapFrog
claims 100 minutes will cost $25.
