MVNOs to Offer Seamless Connectivity Solution to Subscribers

ALISO VIEJO, CA (April 23, 2012) Smith Micro Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:SMSI), a provider of wireless and mobility solutions, has announced that Clearwire, a leading provider of 4G wireless broadband services in the US, is utilizing the QuickLink Mobile connection management solution through its wholesale division. As a result, Clearwire's Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) partners can offer their subscribers one solution for connecting virtually any device to any wired or wireless high speed network. The two first MVNOs to launch QuickLink Mobile software are Locus Telecommunications, Inc. and NetZero Wireless, Inc.

QuickLink Mobile enables Clearwire, Locus, NetZero and other MVNO partners, to enhance their mobile broadband initiatives through a network connection management solution, while at the same time providing security applications. The solution automatically detects and securely connects to the fastest, most cost-effective network available, including 4G. QuickLink Mobile also offers subscribers the ability to manage network profiles, devices, VPNs, and other features, while solving bandwidth challenges by delivering content to users across all mobile broadband devices.
