CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (May 10, 2012) The Quintanilla family and Visa have unveiled a prepaid debit card featuring the image of slain Tejano star Selena.
The credit card company had asked the family for permission to use her image on the card after they decided to issue a card with a celebrity on it. They say Selena was the first person who came to mind.
"It is definitely an honor. I believe like last year was of course the stamp that the United States Post Office did and that was a huge honor. This year its of course the Selena prepaid debit card. So we're real excited and we think she would be too," said Suzette Quintanilla, the sister of Selena.
