24/7 Card Introduces New Prepaid Card
Prepaid Visa Debit + Remit Card Created for Hispanics
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 17, 2012) 24/7 Card, a financial services company that supports immigrants and underserved communities, with world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao in its corner as a shareholder and spokesperson, has expanded into into the Hispanic market.

24/7 Card is the prepaid Visa debit and remittance card designed for immigrants living in the United States. The 24/7 Card features a combination of "Debit + Remit" in one card, which the company says offers the convenience of a prepaid debit card and the ability to send money overseas directly and securely from the card account -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Direct deposit and bank transfer are offered free of charge. Cash can be loaded to 24/7 Cards at over 100,000 convenient retail locations throughout the United States, including most Walmart, 7-11, CVS, Rite-Aid, Safeway, and other locations. 24/7 Cards can also be loaded at Western Union and Moneygram locations. Funds are held in an FDIC-insured financial institution, and all Visa transactions are protected by Visa's Zero Liability Policy.

For $9.95/month, 24/7 Card also includes one complimentary money transfer to a cardholder's home country per month, as well as an unlimited number of debit transactions. For customers who don't frequently transfer money, 24/7 Card offers a "pay-as-you-go" option with no monthly fee. In all cases, enrollment is free.

Recipients have the ability to pick up their cash at any of 24/7 Card's more than 20,000 remittance partner locations throughout México, Central and South America and the Caribbean including BBVA Bancomer, ELEKTRA, HSBS, Banorte, Citibank, Banrural, Banco Industrial, Credomatic and more; have the money deposited directly into a bank account; or have the money hand delivered to their home (where home delivery is available).

There are no credit checks and no overdraft fees. In conjunction with its Hispanic launch, 24/7 Card has introduced a Spanish-language version of its website. Consumers can sign up for the card on 24/7 Card's website or by calling Spanish-language customer service. 24/7 Card will be introduced to the Hispanic market through a national TV campaign, to be aired in over 20 Hispanic television stations.

"We are proud to empower Hispanic-Americans and other immigrants with a safer, more cost-effective way to send money to their loved ones in Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and other countries, including China, India and the Philippines," said 24/7 Card CEO, Lance Rosenzweig. "24/7 Cardholders will enjoy the convenience of shopping, paying bills, withdrawing from ATMs and money transfer using one powerful card. This is a product that immigrant communities have been waiting for. The wait is over: 24/7 Card is here."
